My name is Amy Gilpen and I am a physical education teacher at MacArthur Middle school as well as a Coach for our Archery team. Most recently our 16 students qualified for the state competition, and did well enough at that level in Oklahoma City (8th in the State) to qualify to move to the National tournament in Louisville, Kentucky. Our trip will take place on May 8-10 and we are very steadfast in our efforts to raise the funds to get there.
Our goal is to reach approximately $12,000 to pay for registration, travel, hotels, and food expenses.
Our team is selling Peanuts, working the EZGO “washing windows” for donations, having bake sales at Kirkland’s as well as at our MMS Baseball games. Students and parents have also been out asking for donations.
