TESTING

The sixth, seventh, and eight graders will be participation in the CRT multiple-choice testing. the mulitiple-choice testing measures the student's progress in mastering the Priority Academic Student Skills (PASS). A guide for parents and students will be sent home closer to the testing date for the CRT mulitple-choice tests. The guide will provide practice questions, objectives covered, and test taking tips. During the test week, it is important for students to get plently of sleep, eat breakfast, and arrive at school on time. Parents you may want to reschedule appointments that conflict with testing dates.

  • Multiple choice tests: April 10-13--6th, 7th, and 8th grade.
  • Algebra I End of Instruction (EOI) test: April 24-26--only Algebra I students

FINANCIAL AID FOR COLLEGE


It is never to early to think about how you will pay for college. Planning for college early is smart. Oklahoma Higher Learning Access Program, OHLAP, is a great way to help your family plan for and manage the costs of earning a college degree.
This program applies to only 8th grade students. In late September applications will be made available and sent home with each student.

6th & 8th Grade Parents:

The Oklahoma Prevention Needs Assessment Survey will be administered to your child Thursday, March 2nd. The survey gathers information needed to plan prevention and intervention program to combat alcohol, tobacco, other drug use and violence in our school. If you DO NOT wish for your child to participate in this annonymous survey please contact our sixth grade counselor Mrs. Jennifer Hoffman.
