MMS Chromebook disbursement begins this week

Chromebook disbursement for MMS students who are beginning the year as virtual learners begins Wednesday, Aug. 19, at the school. Parents who have scheduled a pick up time will be asked to ring the doorbell at the main entrance (north doors under the front awning) at their scheduled time. Chromebook pickup for virtual students is by appointment only, however pickup will continue Thursday, Aug. 20. If you have not made an appointment, you may still contact the school office at (580) 353-5111. Students are invited to attend pickup with their parent or guardian to have their school ID photo taken.

A Chromebook usage agreement form must be completed by a parent or guardian at the time of pickup. A $30 insurance fee can be paid at this time, as well. Parents will also have the opportunity to request a wifi hotspot for their child. Please bring exact change or a check made payable to “Lawton Public Schools.” Credit cards will also be accepted.

Chromebook disbursement for traditional on-site students will begin next week. User agreement forms will be available at Open House this Friday, and will be sent home with students on Monday, Aug. 24. A signed user agreement form is required before a student can receive their Chromebook.
