Dr. Erin Berry has been the 8th grade counselor at MMS for 4 years. She started her career in education at MacArthur Middle School in 2008. She was a 7th grade special education co-teacher for 4 years and an 8th grade special education teacher for 5 years before becoming the 8th grade counselor. Dr. Berry has also served as the Builders Club sponsor for 11 years and as the cheer coach for 4 years. She was recognized as an LPS Champion for Children in 2011 and was a finalist for LPS Teacher of the Year in 2016.
Dr. Berry has a Bachelor of Science degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma, a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from Cameron University, a Master of Education degree in school counseling from East Central University, an Education Specialist degree in special education from Northcentral University, and a Doctor of Education degree in special education from Northcentral University.
Erin lives in Mountain View with her husband Tim and they have a farm raising cattle and wheat. She has a 22-year-old daughter Bryanna who currently resides in Kansas City, Mo. Dr. Berry enjoys spending her free time going to festivals in Medicine Park and taking trips with her sister Kristen and all of her nieces and nephews.
