Courtney Ferguson is a born-and-raised Lawtonian and proud graduate of Lawton Public Schools. She attended Crosby Park Elementary, Eisenhower Junior High and Eisenhower High School. Mrs. Ferguson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Cameron University and later received her Master’s Degree in School Counseling from East Central University. She later returned to Cameron to earn a Master’s in Educational Leadership. Mrs. Ferguson has served 17 years with Lawton Public Schools, beginning at Wilson Elementary where she taught third grade for three years. Next, she found her love for middle school as she taught seventh and eighth grade at Eisenhower Middle School for six years. Once Mrs. Ferguson moved into the world of school counseling, she moved to MacArthur Middle school. After working as the sixth-grade counselor for four years, she moved offices and became an Assistant Principal at MMS.
In her spare time, Mrs. Ferguson enjoys spending time with her husband of 20 years and twin daughters. She loves the outdoors and relaxing with family and friends. She likes going to the lake, walking/jogging, traveling, and playing games with family. She loves vacationing at the beach and the mountains.
