The vision of MacArthur Middle School is to foster in students their natural love of learning and to prepare them for continuing success as life-long learners and responsible citizens. We envision a link together with students, families, and the community as partners in the circle of education. Our vision is to

Encourage the social, emotional, and intellectual development of the adolescent student

Create challenging opportunities that respect student individuality and cultural diversity

Foster creativity, curiosity, responsibility, problem solving, and self-directed, life-long learning

Challenge students to reach their highest potential and become citizens with an awareness of local and global responsibilities

Use information, resources, and reasoning skills to solve problems and make decisions in a changing world
